Unmatched Qualifications: 5 Reasons Why I'm the Best Fit for Sports Entertainment

Below you will read about the 5 qualifications that make me stand out compared to my peers within Sports Entertainment. I display my experiences within marketing, sports, communication, entertainment, and how I can be personalized to you and/or your team. My goal is to create an image and brand for for my clients that will bring them publicity and generate revenue.

Marketing Major

Throughout my education at Marquette University, I am a double majoring, with one of them being marketing. I have taken numerous marketing course throughout my career here including marketing research, professional selling, digital marketing more. Throughout these courses I was able to learn marketing basics like importance of the marketing mix: product, place, price, and promotion. I will use each of these factors to strategically market my athletes and teams and create sponsorships that can bring them the most revenue and publicity.

Love of Sports: Division 1 Athlete

My passion is sports therefore I will pour myself into this job because I have been in the athlete as well. Growing up I played all sorts of sports and then was able to continue athletically into college where I currently run track at Marquette. Having the inside point of view of the time commitment, hard work, effort that is put in. With being an athlete, it also allowed me to develop a healthy competitive edge to get my athletes to be the most successful and do everything I can to bring them the business they desire.

Experience

Although I am new to the field, I do have some beneficial experience under my belt with different social media platforms like Tik Tok, Twitter, and Instagram. Throughout my own recruiting process, I was able to utilize twitter to showcase my abilities which is what I would do for those I work for. I was also involved in a club in school where I was in charge of putting together Tik Toks to bring awareness to mental health and lead the assembly for my school that included different skits and speeches. This background has allowed me to dip my toe into entertainment and social media within different organizations.

Networking and Communication Skills I pride myself in my communication skills and have always been great with forming connections with others. The course that I took at Marquette called Professional Selling, which was a marketing elective allowed me strength these skills further and grow more confidence. I learned the importance of being personable, listening to others, and asking important questions to further your conversation ultimately leading you closer to what you desire. I love to meet new people and am prepared to make as many connections as I can to develop a broad network.

Personalized

I want to work to be catered to the needs of my teams and athletes. I am flexible and adaptable which is needed with the constant changing of schedules and locations within sports. I also want to promote athletes to work for something they are interested in or believe in. For example, if an athlete is passionate about mental health, we can work with organizations that support and or have the same beliefs. I want to hear athletes out and get their input when making decisions on their image and work and present them as not only an athlete but who they want to be.
